Organic Fiji Logos
Our story told in symbols…
What do the logos you see on our products actually mean?
Many companies market their products with logos, these logos may conjure up symbolic representations in the consumer’s brain, but what do they really stand for and what does it mean for you as the customer?
Anyone can use symbols and slogans on their products, but it’s the message behind the icons that’s important.
Some logos on the market are a product of something brilliant! Logos such as the USDA organic logo are images that represent a whole movement in clean and pure ingredients, they represent a huge body of effort, cost and energy on the manufacturer’s behalf to present to its customers a certified organic product. This can also be said for various other logos too. We can compare these to symbols that show memos such as ‘All natural’, this could be text that has not been certified by a certain agency and although may be true and a positive thing, aren’t verified or certified as true.
This isn’t to say that the logo doesn’t boast something encouraging about the company but consumers should make an effort to learn about the differences. If you see a logo that impresses or interests you, find out more about it and learn if it is verified by an objective agency. To help you get started with your research we’d like to assist you in understanding Organic Fiji’s logos.
The USDA logo that you see on our products means that the product in question has undergone a verification process to certify its organic claims. The logo is there to assure customers they are getting what they pay for. Seeing the USDA logo on a product guarantees consumers that they are paying the real cost of an authentic product.
The USDA logo is the most well-known organic verification stamp worldwide. When consumers see the USDA logo on body care / wellness products such an Organic Fiji’s, they should know that the USDA’s standards are actually designed for food. There are some other companies that certify body care products specifically but these companies allow many more preservatives and harsh ingredients to pass through their ruling.
Seeing the USDA logo on our products should confirm to customers that they are using a product on their skin which has been verified organic to an organic food industry’s standard. The products you put on your skin should be as important as what you eat. Your skin is the largest organ on your body and heavily absorbs skin care products into the blood stream. Be healthy from the inside out and the outside in. You can read more about the USDA’s organic standards by clicking here.

Recycled & Recyclable
This symbol on our products simply means that our packaging can be recycled. Keep their life cycle going! We also use organic ‘packing peanuts’ in our shipments, these pieces of material are so natural they are actually edible! However, we wouldn’t recommend it, they’re a little dry. Recycling is great for the environment, it requires far less energy than producing, it uses less natural resources and most importantly it stops waste from piling up in landfills.
Our products contain absolutely no animal by-products or substances. We have never and will never use animals in any way to create our products. We will, however, continue to encourage people to feed their dogs’ coconut oil because they absolutely love it, it’s great for their coats and keeps their digestive track healthy!
All our products are 100% gluten free. If you have a gluten allergy, you won’t need to worry if you consume our organic, cold pressed coconut oil or if you use any of our natural body products on your skin. The products you use on your skin are absorbed into your bloodstream, so if cutting gluten out is important to you, it’s a good idea to find out about ingredients you consume internally and externally. Organic Fiji is completely gluten free!
