It has not gone bad, in fact it is a great representation of how raw your coconut oil is and that there are no added artificial ingredients. When organic coconut oil goes above or below 76F/24C it changes form. If, after changing form and then solidifying, your coconut oil contains lumps or granules – don’t panic. This is a very quick and easy fix. Simply warm your coconut oil above 76F/24C and the lumps or granules will melt away. If your jar of coconut oil or sugar/salt scrub has solidified, learn more about how to liquefy coconut oil.
Your lotion may be thicker than normal during the cooler months of year. This happens because your lotion is infused with a large percent of organic coconut oil which, in its raw state, solidifies under 76F/24C. If you prefer your lotion to have a thinner consistency you can place the bottle in a bowl/sink of warm water and within minutes your lotion will flow freely out of the pump.

Suggested shelf-life is 3 years from date of manufacture. You can find the best-by date stamped on the bottom of your product. However the Organic Fiji Team have tested products on themselves in the 4-6 year range with great results.
Absolutely not, there are no synthetic ingredients in any of our products. We only use organic and pure essential oil or botanical based aromas. Learn more about our ingredients.
The soap is made of just 2 ingredients; Saponified Coconut Oil (which is the mixing of Coconut Oil, water and sodium hydroxide*) and your chosen essential oil or botanical. Fragrance Free is also available. Click here for more information on our traditional island soap making. *After the saponification process is complete there is no remaining sodium hydroxide.

No, our coconut oil body products will usually wash out of materials during a normal-warm wash cycle.
Most people will experience oil/scrub residue after use. Don’t panic, we have a quick and easy fix. After turning the water off, we suggest sprinkling a powered laundry detergent of your choice over the area in the tub/shower. Using the bottom of your foot, or a scrubbing brush, clean the problem areas. Once finished, rinse your foot/brush and the floor of the tub/shower. Your tub/shower will now be sparkling clean in as little as 30 seconds!
